What is in an Electronic Cigarette?
The main ingredients are Propylene Glycol, flavoring, nicotine(optional), water, and sometimes alcohol, to give it that extra throat hit for nicotineless electronic cigarettes. Some people who are allergic to propylene glycol, highly unlikely to happen if you are or WERE a cigarette smoker, because cigarettes also contain propelene glycaol.

Clearly, the electronic cigarette wins this fight. The contents of electronic cigarettes are way safer than the 4k+ chemical cancer package you get in a regular old fire driven ciggy. But ofcourse, the FDA won't agree with us here, they want people to keep smoking traditional cigs and keep collecting the tons of money WE spend on normal cigs to KILL ourselves. You'd think the FDA would actually recommend this to us because ecigs do not contain tobacco or any other harmful stuff, but noooo. It's all about the money for the FDA people.

Electronic Cigarette VS traditional cigarette - Flavor

I think it's fair to say, and you ecig vapers, that were once chain smokers might agree, that traditional cigarettes win here. It's been close to 2 years for me of being smoke free, and on constant ecig supply, and I STILL haven't found an ecig that comes close to the real cigarete when it comes to flavor. I used to smoke 2 packs of marlboro, or camel cigarettes. Now I just smoke high/extra high ecigarettes that are labaled as "Marlboro" or eliquid labeled as "USA Mix". It doesn't taste anything like Marlboro, AT ALL.

So if you're looking to buy ecigs and expect to get the exact same feeling, flavor, and satisfaction you get from cancer sticks (analog cigarettes), you will be disappointed. It's not just the tobacco and nicotine that gives your regular ciggies that flavor we all love, maybe we actually liked the taste of rat poison, or embalming fluid? Who knows. Just telling it like it is, ecigs won't come close to real cigs in flavor, but they DO have some awesome flavors on their own that we can get used to. I personally love the Vanilla dekang 24mg liquid, some people find it gross but I like it. I also like the coffee mixed with marlboro.

Ecigarettes VS Analog cigarettes - Cost
This isn't really that great a difference, unless a pack of regular ciggys cost you 5 bucks or more. I used to smoke 2 packs a day, and they cost me about 7 bucks a day. I was really addicted because I remember going out of the house at 3am just to buy a pack cause I ran out. Like a druggy, I got in my car and drove off to the nearest convenience store and bought some cigs.

$7 x 30 = $210 dollars. That's how much money I spend killing myself with regular analog cigarettes. Btw "analog cigarettes" is what the cool kids are calling traditional cigs, the ones powered by fire. And they also call smoking an ecig, vaping.

With ecigs, I find myself content smoking, excuse me, VAPING, 60 ML per month. A bottle of 30 ML costs me $10 dollars. An atomizer costs me about the same, lets keep it at $11, because I have different models of ecig, and the prices vary. I have a DSE901, a joye510, an M401 (which I LOOOVE) and a DSE801(juice hog aka).

So my monthly spendings for my "esmoking" or whatever you like to call it is $31 dollars. If you have no ecig, and you're completely new. To get started you will probably need $100. $40-50 for a starter kit, and I recommend you buy at least 3 types of liquid to test out. And then 2 extra atomizers, and shipping costs (about $10 if you're in the states)

Atomizers and liquid will be your consumables, the batteries I have last for a long time, I've had the same M401 battery last me up to 6 months, 4 months for my DSE901, and 3-4 months for my JOYE510. All three get used up and charged TWICE everyday. That's how much I love my ecigarettes :)

Have fun finding an atomizer that lasts. I personally have made my 1 atomizer last 4 months on my good old DSE901, and I am happy, but by posting this I prolly jinxed my own atomizer. lol that happens.

Price wise, I think it's clear that electronic cigarettes win vs cancer sticks. But I should warn you, these babies are addicting, you will want to keep buying more and more ecigs because they look awesome.
